Areas of Specialization

My broader research interests include the 20th and 21st century Greek history and culture, with a focus on the Greek Civil War and its legacies, and its multiple parallels with the Spanish paradigm. I am also interested in the new interpretive channels offered by literary and cultural theory in relation to 20th and 21st century Greek fiction. Methodologically, I am familiar with social history and gender studies, as well as memory and trauma studies.
